21 Dec Daal Chawal Lunch
DATE: December 21st, 2019. LOCATION: Karachi.
HPSAA arranged Daal Chawal Lunch for the HPS Alumni on Saturday 21st December 2019. 267 HPS Alumni from the batch of 1962 to the batch 2019 attended the gathering. The two-hour event was broadcast live on the HPSAA Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/HPSAA-610514459400489/?modal=admin_todo_tour ). Some HPS Alumni had visited the school after a gap of decades.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Qumail Habib, Managing Trustee of Habib Education Trust, himself an Alumni of the batch of 1975, declared the year 2020 as the HPS Alumni year for the school. The school band played and some Alumni who were in the school band during their school days also joined them in playing different tunes. Ms. Ainee Shehzad, the principal HPS, requested the Alumni to step forward to help achieve the HPS vision of propelling the school to be one of the country’s best three educational institutions within three years. All in all, it was a wonderful day where childhood friends met and reminisced.
