19 Dec Hps Alumni Open House
DATE: December 19th, 2019. LOCATION: Karachi.
The Habib Public School had an open house for HPS Alumni on Thursday 19th December 2019 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The day started with a bait bazi contest and Urdu Fehmi between the students of the HPS. Yellow House won the day, individual honours went to Muhammad Aon (Green House) whose father Yousuf Ali is also a Habibian (Batch 1973).
At 11 am the sports activities started, two contests of Hockey and Basketball between the HPS Alumni team and the HPS team were scheduled. Zeeshan Merchant (Batch 1992) was given the responsibility to form the Alumni Hockey team and he did a wonderful job. The HPS Alumni Hockey team was star-studded including two Olympians Ayaz Mehmood and Qamar Ibrahim. The Alumni Hockey team won the match 3-1. Arsalan (Batch 2009) formed the Alumni Basketball team and played their hearts out but the HPS basketball team was too good and the Alumni team was beaten. It was a fun day and the bond between the HPS Alumni and the HPS students strengthened. Refreshments were served to the Alumni who were present on this day.
